Romo Vincent was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Vincent landed roles in various films, including the Nino Martini musical comedy "Music For Madame" (1937), "Start Cheering" (1938) and "Scene of the Crime" (1949). He also appeared in "The Toast of New Orleans" (1950) with Kathryn Grayson, the adventurous drama "Hurricane Island" (1951) with Jon Hall and the Dean Martin comedy "The Caddy" (1953). He continued to act in productions like the Bob Hope comedy "Casanova's Big Night" (1954), the dramatic adventure "The Naked Jungle" (1954) with Eleanor Parker and the comedic adaptation "You're Never Too Young" (1955) with Dean Martin. He also appeared in "Female on the Beach" (1955) with Joan Crawford. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "When the Boys Meet the Girls" (1965), the James Garner dramatic adaptation "Mister Buddwing" (1966) and "The Swinger" (1966). He also appeared in the David Janssen dramatic adaptation "Warning Shot" (1967) and the Kevin Coughlin drama "The Young Runaways" (1968). Vincent more recently appeared in "In the Glitter Palace" (NBC, 1976-77). Vincent passed away in January 1989 at the age of 81.
