Jackie Vernon worked on a variety of projects during her entertainment career. Vernon kickstarted her acting career with roles in various television comedies, such as "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" (ABC, 1974-75). She had a part on the television special "The Perry Como Christmas Show" (NBC, 1965-66). During the early stages of her acting career, Vernon worked in films like the comedic adaptation "The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight" (1971) with Jerry Orbach. Vernon also contributed her voice to characters in "Frosty the Snowman" (CBS, 1969). In the seventies and the eighties, Vernon devoted her time to various credits, such as "Frosty's Winter Wonderland" (ABC, 1976-77), "The Princess Who Had Never Laughed" (Showtime, 1985-86) and "Amazon Women on the Moon" (1987). She also worked on "Microwave Massacre" (1988). Vernon continued to exercise her talent in the nineties through the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "The Common Pursuit" (PBS, 1992-93), "A Dark Adapted Eye" (PBS, 1994-95) and "Signs and Wonders" (PBS, 1995-96).
