Amy Veness was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1917, she made her film debut in "Please Help Emily." In 1948, she appeared in "Here Come the Huggetts." In 1955, she played her final film role in "The Woman for Joe." Veness began her career with a role in the Jack Buchanan musical comedy "Brewster's Millions" (1935). Veness then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "Millions Like Us" (1943). Later in her career, Veness acted in "Doctor in the House" (1955). Veness passed away in September 1960 at the age of 84.
