Evelyn Varden was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Varden kickstarted her acting career in various films such as the Jeanne Crain drama "Pinky" (1949), the comedic drama "Cheaper by the Dozen" (1950) with Clifton Webb and "Stella" (1950) with Ann Sheridan. She also appeared in the Dan Dailey comedy "When Willie Comes Marching Home" (1950). She continued to act in productions like the drama "Elopement" (1951) with Clifton Webb, "Finders Keepers" (1952) and the drama "Phone Call From a Stranger" (1952) with Shelley Winters. She also appeared in the Jane Powell musical "Athena" (1954). Toward the end of her career, she continued to act in the dramatic adaptation "Desiree" (1954) with Marlon Brando, the Ann Blyth musical "The Student Prince" (1954) and "The Night of the Hunter" (1955). She also appeared in the musical comedy "Ten Thousand Bedrooms" (1956) with Dean Martin. Varden last acted in "The Bad Seed" (1956) with Nancy Kelly. Varden passed away in July 1958 at the age of 65.
