Biography
An editor and novelist, Bost began collaborating with screenwriter Jean Aurenche in 1943, with the former providing the dialogue and the latter the story and continuity. The pair provided the screenplays for features directed by Rene Clement, Claude Autant-Lara and Jean Delannoy, most notably "Forbidden Games" (1952) and "Le Rouge et le Noir/The Red and the Black" (1954).
