Roger Van Hool was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Hool's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "Heartbeat" (1969) with Catherine Deneuve, "Le Soldat Laforet" (1970) and "Louisa, A Word Of Love" (1971). He also appeared in the Anna Karina period drama "Rendez-Vous a Bray" (1971), "Verloren Maandag" (1973) and "Le Jardin des Supplices" (1976). His film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like "Doctor Vlimmen" (1977), "Krystyna et Sa Nuit" (1977) and "Een Vrouw Tussen Hond en Wolf" (1979). He also appeared in "Les Jours de Notre Vie" (1981) and the drama "The Woman Next Door" (1981) with Gérard Depardieu. During the latter half of his career, he tackled roles in "Lock" (1984), "Iris" (1987) and "Stormy Summer" (1990) with Judith Godrèche. He also appeared in the Gerard Lanvin foreign "Erreur de la banque en votre faveur" (2009) and the Ben Feldman thriller "As Above, So Below" (2014). Most recently, Hool acted in the Tim Roth dramatic sports film "United Passions" (2015).
