Paul Tuerpe was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Tuerpe's career in acting began with his roles in various films like "Airport 77" (1977) with Jack Lemmon, the Jason Robards action film "Raise the Titanic" (1980) and the drama "Inside Moves" (1980) with John Savage. He also appeared in the comedy "The Toy" (1982) with Richard Pryor, "Ladyhawke" (1985) with Matthew Broderick and "The Goonies" (1985). His film career continued throughout the eighties in productions like the action picture "Lethal Weapon" (1987) with Mel Gibson, "Scrooged" (1988) and the Nick Nolte dramatic adventure "Three Fugitives" (1989). He also appeared in the Mel Gibson box office smash action flick "Lethal Weapon 2" (1989). More recently, he tackled roles in "Assassins" (1995), the action movie "The X-Files" (1998) with David Duchovny and the Mel Gibson hit action flick "Lethal Weapon 4" (1998). He also appeared in the Leelee Sobieski drama "The Glass House" (2001) and "The Clearing" (2004) with Robert Redford. Most recently, Tuerpe acted in the action-packed comedy "The Spy Next Door" (2010) with Jackie Chan.
