Biography
Curly-haired, slightly chubby character player, best known as high-powered yet compassionate attorney Stuart Markowitz on the long-running TV series, "L.A. Law" (NBC, 1986-94). Tucker's screen career began with a sizable supporting role in Lina Wertmuller's little-seen "A Night Full of Rain" (1977), but he received wider exposure for his amusing turn as Bagel in the related Barry Levinson films "Diner" (1982) and "Tin Men" (1987), and for his hilarious performance as the father in Woody Allen's affectionate "Radio Days" (1987). Tucker has long been married to actress Jill Eikenberry, who played his lawyer wife on "L.A. Law."
