Brian Trenchard-Smith made quite a name for himself as a film director throughout his extensive career. Trenchard-Smith worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Blood Tide" with James Earl Jones (1982), "Deathcheaters" (1976) and "Stunt Rock" (1978). He also contributed to "The Love Epidemic" (1974) starring Michael Laurence, "The Man From Hong Kong" (1974) and "Turkey Shoot" (1981) starring Steve Railsback. In the nineties, Trenchard-Smith devoted his time to various credits, such as "Demonstone" (1990), "Night of the Demons II" (1994) starring Cristi Harris and "Leprechaun 3" (1995). He also worked on "The Last Bullet" with Jason Donovan (1995). In his more recent career, Trenchard-Smith directed the Mariel Hemingway drama "In Her Line of Fire" (2006) and the Cuba Gooding Jr. action flick "Deception" (2013). In addition to his directing, Trenchard-Smith also appeared on-screen in the foreign "Not Quite Hollywood: The Wild, Untold Story of Ozploitation" (2009) with Quentin Tarantino. Most recently, Trenchard-Smith directed the action picture "Drive Hard" (2014) with John Cusack.
