Actress Martha Tilton was widely known for her presence on the silver screen. Tilton's career beginnings included film roles in the Anna Neagle adaptation "Sunny" (1941) and "Swing Hostess" (1944). She went on to act in the Steve Allen biopic "The Benny Goodman Story" (1955), "Queen of the Stardust Ballroom" (CBS, 1974-75) and "Those Fabulous 40's" (PBS, 1991-92). Tilton's music was most recently featured in the dramatic adaptation "Focus" (2001) with William H. Macy. Tilton passed away in December 2006 at the age of 91.
