Wesley Thompson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also starred in the TV movies "The Violation of Sarah McDavid" (1980-81), "Women of San Quentin" (NBC, 1983-84) and "Amazons" (ABC, 1983-84). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Cheers" (NBC, 1982-1993). In the nineties, he worked on the silver screen, taking roles in the Christina Ricci smash hit comedic fantasy "Casper" (1995) and "White Man's Burden" (1995). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Two For the Show" (HBO, 1993-94) and "The First Gentleman" (CBS, 1993-94). Thompson's more recent roles included the Vivica A. Fox comedy "Two Can Play That Game" (2001) and "Reeker" (2006) with Devon Gummersall. Thompson most recently acted in the Robert Downey Jr. blockbuster action flick "Iron Man 3" (2013).
