Biography
Joe Theismann was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In the early stages of his acting career, Theismann landed roles in action flicks like the Burt Reynolds film "Cannonball Run II" (1984). He had a part on the television special "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson: 23rd Anniversary" (NBC, 1985-86). Theismann worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Coach" (1988-1997). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Man From Left Field" (CBS, 1993-94). He also appeared in the TV special "The Super Bowl at 30: Big Game America" (TNT, 1995-96). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Burt Wolf/ Eating Well" (PBS, 1991-92). In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "Arli$" (1996-2003), "That '70s Show" (Fox, 1997-2006) and "Necessary Roughness" (USA, 2010-13). He also appeared in the Gregory Hines dramedy "Good Luck" (1997). Theismann most recently acted on "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (Fox, 2013-).
