Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1944, Russi Taylor was a voice actress known for voicing a number of well-known animated characters including Martin from "The Simpsons" (FOX 1989- ) and Minnie Mouse. Taylor's first voice-over role came in 1980 when she performed the voice of Strawberry Shortcake in the TV movie "The World of Strawberry Shortcake." Her first regular role was on "The Flintstones Comedy Show" (NBC 1980) in which she voiced the character of Pebbles Flintstone. Taylor voiced Huey, Dewey, and Louie in the television series "DuckTales" (ABC 1987-1990), as well as related video games and movies. In 1986, Taylor became the official voice of Disney's Minnie Mouse, one of the most beloved animated characters of all time. Taylor went on to voice Strawberry Shortcake in a number of other TV movies as well as supplying voices for various characters in the TV series "Pound Puppies" (ABC 1986-88), "My Little Pony 'n' Friends" (Syndicated 1986-87) and "The Littles" (ABC 1983-85). Aside from Martin Prince, Taylor provided the voices of a number of characters in "The Simpsons," including twins Sherri and Terri, and German exchange student Uter. She also provided the voice of Daisy Duck in the 1999 movie "Fantasia 2000."
