Biography
Actress Cynthia Szigeti was known for her roles on the silver screen. In the early stages of her acting career, Szigeti was featured in films like "I Never Promised You A Rose Garden" (1977) with Bibi Andersson and Kathleen Quinlan and "Repo Man" (1984) with Harry Dean Stanton and Emilio Estevez. She also appeared in the TV movie "The Jayne Mansfield Story" (CBS, 1980-81). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in "Hunk" (1987), "976-EVIL" (1989) and the comedic adaptation "A Sinful Life" (1989) with Anita Morris. She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Roxie" (CBS, 1986-87). During the latter half of her career, she continued to act in "Where the Day Takes You" (1992) with Dermot Mulroney, the dramatic adaptation "Up Close and Personal" (1996) with Robert Redford and the comedy "Man of the Year" (1996) with Dirk Shafer. She also worked in television during these years, including roles in "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" (1990-96) and "Everybody Loves Raymond" (CBS, 1996-2005). Szigeti most recently acted on "What I Like About You" (WB, 2002-06).
