Biography
Renowned actor Robert Sutton has held various roles in television. Early on, Sutton mostly landed roles in various films, including "Sudden Impact" (1983), the biographical drama "Hoosiers" (1986) with Gene Hackman and the fantastical comedy "Almost an Angel" (1990) with Paul Hogan. He also appeared in the TV movie "Missing Pieces" (CBS, 1982-83). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Werewolf" (Fox, 1986-87) and "Veronica Clare" (Lifetime, 1990-91). Several more television roles followed in the nineties, including stints on "Melrose Place" (1991-98), "Reasonable Doubts" (NBC, 1991-93) and "NYPD Blue" (1993-2005). He also appeared in "The Pretender" (1996-2000) and "Encore! Encore!" (NBC, 1998-99). More recently, he tackled roles on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (2000-2015), "Watching Ellie" (2001-03) and "The Ghost Whisperer" (CBS, 2005-2010). He also appeared in "Lie to Me" (Fox, 2008-2011) and "Zeke & Luther" (Disney XD, 2008-2011). Most recently, Sutton acted on "Shameless" (Showtime, 2010-).
