Biography

Jerry Summers worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Summers's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "The Brothers Rico" (1957) with Richard Conte, the western "The Purple Hills" (1961) with Gene Nelson and the action movie "Surf Party" (1964) with Bobby Vinton. He also appeared in the crime feature "Coogan's Bluff" (1968) with Clint Eastwood, "Hickey and Boggs" (1972) and "99 and 44/100% Dead" (1974) with Richard Harris. In the seventies and the eighties, Summers devoted his time to various credits, such as "10" (1979) starring Dudley Moore, "The Lady in Red" (1979) starring Pamela Sue Martin and "In God We Trust" (1980) starring Marty Feldman. He also worked on "Charlie Chan and the Curse of the Dragon Queen" with Peter Ustinov (1981). Summers had a number of different projects under his belt in the eighties, including "Alien Nation" with James Caan (1988), "License to Drive" with Corey Haim (1988) and "Midnight Run" (1988). His credits also expanded to "Moonwalker" (1988) and "Hit List" with Jan-Michael Vincent (1989). Most recently, Summers appeared on the documentary "California Company Town" (2009) with Lee Anne Schmitt.
