Stewart's career beginnings included film roles in the Tim McCoy western "Shotgun Pass" (1932), "The Glass Web" (1953) with Edward G Robinson and "Good Morning, Miss Dove" (1955) with Jennifer Jones. Later, Stewart acted in "The Rowan and Martin Report" (1975-76), "Stingray" (NBC, 1984-85) and "There Were Times, Dear" (PBS, 1986-87). More recently, Stewart appeared on "Hugh Hefner: American Playboy Revisited" (2000-01).
