He then acted in the action flick "Big Bad John" (1990) with Ned Beatty, "Michael Martin Murphey's WestFest at Copper Mountain" (The Nashville Network, 1994-95) and "America's Music: The Roots of Country" (TBS, 1995-96). More recently, Steagall appeared on "Red Steagall Presents Cowboy: The Legend, the Legacy" (PBS, 2000-01).
