Biography
Former radio personality turned character actor. Steadman's acting career didn't began until he retired from over 30 years in radio. He made his first appearance as an actor in the 1970 made-for-TV-movie "Night Chase." His film credits (usually bit parts as old drunks or grandfathers) include three Robert Aldrich films: "The Emperor of the North Pole" (1973), "The Longest Yard" (1974) and "The Frisco Kid" (1979), as well as two Cheech and Chong movies: "Cheech & Chong's Next Movie" (1980) and "Things Are Tough All Over" (1982). Steadman made his final appearance in an episode of "L.A. Law" (1990).
