Biography
Stanley made her film debut as a singer in "Girls Town" (1942) and, as part of dancing group The Jivin' Jacks and Jills, appeared in several features before beginning a career as the live-action model for animated characters in Walt Disney films. Beginning with "Cinderella" (1950), Stanley acted out a live-action version of the story as a template for the final animated feature. Stanley also modeled the princess in "Sleeping Beauty" (1959) and the young wife in "101 Dalmatians" (1961), while continuing to appear in small roles in live-action films.
