Stanier worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Fame" (1980) starring Irene Cara, "Monty Python's Life Of Brian" (1979) starring Terry Jones and "Oxford Blues" (1984). He also contributed to "Shoot the Moon" (1982) starring Albert Finney. In the eighties, Stanier devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Dirty Dozen: Next Mission" (NBC, 1984-85), "Death Wish 3" (1985) and "Rambo III" with Sylvester Stallone (1988). Stanier had a number of different projects under his belt in the eighties and the nineties, including "Spy Trap" (1988), "Erreur de jeunesse" with Geraldine Danon (1990) and "The Jerky Boys" (1995). Most recently, Stanier worked on "If These Walls Could Talk" (1996-97).
