Biography
Michael Sorich is best known as a voice actor (having supplied voices for countless characters in "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" episodes), but he is also a writer, director, and traditional actor. Sorich's career in voice work began in the late 1980s, when he landed roles in the English dubs of two of the great Japanese animated films of the era, "Castle in the Sky" and "Akira." The 1990s would prove to be Sorich's breakout era, as he provided voices for various characters on the "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" television series from 1993 through 1996, in addition to working on subsequent "Power Rangers"-related series. Also during this decade, Sorich appeared on an episode of the popular television series, "Seinfeld" as Fidel Castro; he reprised the role on another popular sitcom, "Married with Children." shortly thereafter. While Sorich continued to act and provide voice work in the early 21st century, he also branched into animation writing and directing on several episodes of the television series "Digimon: Digital Monsters."
