Biography
Frank Simpson's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Simpson kickstarted his acting career in comedies like "Alice's Restaurant" (1969) with Arlo Guthrie and James Broderick. He had a part on the television special "The Rubber Gun Squad" (NBC, 1977-78). In the seventies and the eighties, Simpson devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Bell Jar" with Marilyn Hassett (1979), "We're Fighting Back" (CBS, 1980-81) and "Circle of Two" (1981). He also worked on "Easy Money" (1983) starring Rodney Dangerfield. He also was featured in the TV movies "Trackdown: Finding the Goodbar Killer" (CBS, 1983-84) and "Threesome" (CBS, 1984-85). Simpson more recently appeared in "Love and Other Sorrows" (PBS, 1988-89).
