Tony Simotes's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Simotes's earliest roles were in film, including the dramatic adaptation "Whose Life Is It Anyway?" (1981) with Richard Dreyfuss, "Maid to Order" (1987) with Ally Sheedy and "Alien Nation" (1988). He also appeared in the Melanie Griffith thriller "Pacific Heights" (1990). He kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in "Hot Shots!" (1991), the Arnold Schwarzenegger box office smash action movie "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" (1991) and "Class Act" (1992) with Christopher "Kid" Reid. He also appeared in the TV special "Different Worlds: A Story of Interracial Love" (CBS, 1991-92). Simotes continued to exercise his talent in the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "Rock the Vote" (Fox, 1992-93), "Sinatra" (1992-93) and "The Waterdance" (1992). His credits also expanded to "Father of the Bride Part II" (1995) starring Steve Martin. Simotes most recently worked on "Brush Up Your Shakespeare" (PBS, 1998-99).
