Biography
Claudio Simonetti brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Simonetti began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like "I Nuovi barbari" (1982) with Fred "The Hammer" Williamson, the thriller "Sotto gli occhi dell'Assassino" (1982) with John Saxon and the fantasy "Conquest" (1983) with Jorge Rivero. His music also appeared in the horror flick "Creepers" (1985) with Jennifer Connelly, the horror feature "Body Count" (1986) with Bruce Penhall and the action flick "Cut and Run" (1986) with Lisa Blount. In the eighties and the early 2000s, Simonetti's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the Natasha Hovey horror film "Demoni" (1986), the Daniel Greene action picture "Hands of Steel" (1986) and the Charlotte Lewis thriller "Dial Help" (1988). His work was also in "Welcome to Spring Break" (1990) with Nicholas DeToth and "The Versace Murder" (1998) with Franco Nero. Simonetti's music was also featured in the foreign "The Card Player" (2004) with Stefania Rocca, "Bangkok Dangerous" (2008) and "Giallo" (2009). Simonetti's music appeared on TV shows like "Masters of Horror" (Showtime, 2005-07). Most recently, Simonetti worked on the Thomas Kretschmann horror movie "Argento's Dracula 3D" (2013).
