Biography
Kerry Sherman was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Known for making audiences laugh, Sherman began her acting career in comedies like the Dan Aykroyd film "1941" (1979). She had a part on the television special "Alone At Last I" (NBC, 1979-1980). She also appeared in the TV movie "Son Rise: A Miracle of Love" (NBC, 1978-79). She also landed a role in the miniseries "The Golden Moment -- An Olympic Love Story" (1979-1980). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Mrs. R's Daughter" (NBC, 1979-1980). She also worked in film during these years, including a part on the Nick Nolte action flick "48 HRS." (1982). Toward the end of her career, she tackled roles on "Santa Barbara" (NBC, 1983-1993) and "Maximum Security" (HBO, 1984-85). She also was featured in the TV movie "Best Kept Secrets" (ABC, 1983-84). Sherman more recently acted in the horror film "Eyes of Fire" (1987) with Dennis Lipscomb.
