Arell Blanton was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Blanton's career in acting began with his roles in various films like "The Five at the Funeral" (1972), the action film "Black Gunn" (1972) with Jim Brown and the horror feature "The Swarm" (1978) with Michael Caine. He also appeared in "When a Stranger Calls" (1979) with Charles Durning and the action movie "The Baltimore Bullet" (1980) with James Coburn. He also landed a role in the miniseries "Favorite Son" (1988-89). He also appeared in "Defending Your Life" (1991). during these yearsHe also starred in the TV movies "Dance 'Til Dawn" (NBC, 1988-89) and "The Gifted One" (NBC, 1988-89). Blanton took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in "King Cobra" (2000) and "A Day Without a Mexican" (2004) with Yareli Arizmendi.
