Biography
Jeannie Seely was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She appeared in a number of television specials, including "The 60th Anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry" (CBS, 1985-86) and "The Women of Country" (CBS, 1992-93). Seely began her entertainment career acting in films like the Willie Nelson musical drama "Honeysuckle Rose" (1980). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Grand Ole Opry Live Christmas" (1994-95), "America's Music: The Roots of Country" (TBS, 1995-96) and "Grand Ole Opry 70th Anniversary" (CBS, 1995-96). She also appeared in "The Life and Times of Dottie West" (The Nashville Network, 1995-96). Additionally, she could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Country's Family Reunion" (1997-98), "Christmas Country's Family Reunion" (The Nashville Network, 1998-99) and "Grand Ole Opry 75th -- A Celebration" (CBS, 2000-01). Seely most recently acted in "Changing Hearts" (2003) with Lauren Holly.
