Biography
Humphrey Searle, a talented musician, produced music for many Hollywood productions. Early in his entertainment career, Searle's music was featured in films like the John Mills comedy "The Baby and the Battleship" (1956) and "Beyond Mombasa" (1957). His music was also used in the "The Passionate Stranger" (1957) film Ralph Richardson, the documentary "Antarctic Crossing" (1958) with James Carr and the Michael Redgrave crime adaptation "Law and Disorder" (1958). Later in his career, Searle worked on "The Haunting" (1963) with Julie Harris. Searle passed away in May 1982 at the age of 67.
