Schofield then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "The Way to the Stars" (1945) and "The Reluctant Widow" (1950). Later in his career, Schofield acted in the David Niven drama "Carrington V.C." (1955). Schofield passed away in September 1955 at the age of 66.
