Gilles Savard was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Savard started his acting career landing roles in films, such as the comedy adventure "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure" (1985) with Paul Reubens and the comedic fantasy "Scrooged" (1988) with Bill Murray. He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Coach" (1988-1997). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Gypsy" (CBS, 1993-94). He also appeared in the TV special "When Disasters Strike" (Fox, 1996-97). In the nineties and the 2010s, Savard worked on predominantly television shows such as "Sisters" (1990-96), "Charlie Grace" (ABC, 1995-96) and "The West Wing" (NBC, 1999-2006). Savard most recently acted on "Defiance" (Syfy, 2012-15).
