Biography
William Sargent was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Sargent's acting career began mostly with his roles in various films, such as the crime drama "The Young Savages" (1961) with Burt Lancaster and the dramatic biopic "Hitler" (1962) with Richard Basehart. He also starred in the TV movies "The Immortal" (1969-1970), "A Great American Tragedy" (ABC, 1972-73) and "Not in This Town" (USA, 1996-97). Sargent had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties and the early 2000s, including "Captain Jack" with Bob Hoskins (1999) and "Allosaurus: A Walking With Dinosaurs Special" (2000). Sargent most recently worked on the Max Records children "Where the Wild Things Are" (2009).
