Biography
John Blackwood was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In the early stages of his acting career, Blackwood starred in action films like "Circleman" (1988) and the Jesse Ventura film "Abraxas" (1991). He had a part on the television special "Salem Witch Trials" (1994-95). He also appeared in the TV movie "Black Fox: The Price of Peace" (CBS, 1994-95). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Blackwood worked on predominantly television shows such as "Gene Roddenberry's "Earth: Final Conflict"" (1997-2002), "Missing" (Lifetime, 2002-05) and "Playmakers" (ESPN Network, 2002-03). He also starred in the TV movies "Beyond the Call" (1995-96), "Critical Choices" (Showtime, 1996-97) and "Tru Confessions" (Disney, 2001-02). He also was featured in the TV movies "The Pentagon Papers" (FX, 2002-03) and "The Deadliest Sea" (Discovery Channel, 2009-2010). Blackwood most recently acted in the biographical drama "Life" (2015) with Dane DeHaan.
