Biography
Salvador Sanchez was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Sanchez's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "Canoa" (1976), "El Apando" (1976) and "Bajo la Metralla" (1982). He also appeared in "La Vispera" (1982), the Willie Colon sports drama "The Last Fight" (1983) and the Albert Finney dramatic adaptation "Under the Volcano" (1984). He kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in the comedy "Viaje al Paraiso" (1987) with Ernesto Gomez Cruz, "Dias Dificiles" (1987) and the drama "Va de Nuez" (1987) with Rafael Sánchez Navarro. He also appeared in "Frida: Naturaleza Vita" (1988). Recently, he continued to act in "Su Alteza Serenisima" (2001), the action movie "The Mexican" (2001) with Brad Pitt and the action film "Collateral Damage" (2002) with Arnold Schwarzenegger. He also appeared in "Herod's Law" (2003) with Damián Alcázar. Sanchez most recently worked on the Chris Hemsworth smash hit action picture "Thor" (2011).
