Paul Sanchez was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Sanchez worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Born on the Fourth of July" (1989) starring Tom Cruise, "Crime Club" (CBS, 1972-73) and the Tom Berenger and Willem Dafoe smash hit "Platoon" (1986). He also contributed to "Rambo III" with Sylvester Stallone (1988), "Six Against the Rock" (NBC, 1986-87) and "Somewhere in Time" (1980) starring Christopher Reeve. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in "Navy Seals" (1990), "So I Married An Axe Murderer" (1993) starring Mike Myers and the Tom Hanks blockbuster dramatic adventure "Cast Away" (2000). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-). Sanchez won an Outstanding Achievement In Makeup For a Miniseries or a Special Primetime Emmy Award for "Son of the Morning Star" in 1991. He shifted from film to television work through the early 2000s and the 2010s, appearing on "Lie to Me" (2008-2011), "Tremé" (HBO, 2009-2014) and "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." (ABC, 2013-). Most recently, Sanchez acted on "Blunt Talk" (Starz, 2014-16).
