Biography
Melissa Samuels was an accomplished actress, noted for her comedic timing in her roles for television shows. Samuels kickstarted her acting career with roles in various television comedies, such as "Roc" (Fox, 1990-94), "Love & War" (CBS, 1992-95) and "Pig Sty" (UPN, 1994-95). She also appeared in the TV movie "Abandoned and Deceived" (ABC, 1994-95). She continued her comedic performances throughout the nineties, appearing on"Dweebs" (CBS, 1995-96) and "Maggie" (Lifetime, 1998-99). Her career progressed to film, including a role in the Pauly Shore comedy "Jury Duty" (1995). Samuels focused on television in more recent years, appearing on "The King of Queens" (CBS, 1998-2007). Most recently, Samuels wrote the drama "Playdate" (2013) with Alicia Witt.
