Biography

Elena Sahagun was a big screen film actress known for powerful performances. In her early acting career, Sahagun appeared in such films as the action flick "Caged Fury" (1990) with Erik Estrada, the comedy "Corporate Affairs" (1990) with Peter Scolari and the action film "Marked for Death" (1990) with Steven Seagal. She also appeared in the Leslie Bega crime feature "Angel in Red" (1991) and the action movie "Intent to Kill" (1992) with Traci Lords. She kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in "Ring of Fire II: Blood and Steel" (1993) and the Eddie Deezen horror movie "Teenage Exorcist" (1993). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Terminal Virus" (Showtime, 1995-96). She also appeared in the TV special "La Carpa" (PBS, 1992-93). Recently, she tackled roles in "Gedo" (2001) with Kiyoshi Nakajo. Additionally, she appeared on the television special "In the Mirror" (PBS, 1997-98). Most recently, Sahagun worked on "From Mexico With Love" (2009).
