Sagar began to focus on film after appearing in the Kenneth Connor comedic adaptation "Carry On Nurse" (1960), "Carry on Loving" (1970) with Sidney James and "Villain" (1971) with Richard Burton. He also appeared in the Danny LaRue comedy "Our Miss Fred" (1972). Later in his career, Sagar acted in the dramatic adaptation "The Offence" (1973) with Sean Connery.
