Todd Rundgren was an experienced musician who performed rock music throughout his Hollywood career. Rundgren's career began with music appearances mostly in comedies like "Rock 'n' Roll High School" (1979) starring P.J. Soles, the Dan Aykroyd film "My Girl" (1991) and "Leap of Faith" (1992) with Steve Martin and Debra Winger. In the nineties and the early 2000s, Rundgren's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the Jim Carrey blockbuster comedy "Dumb & Dumber" (1994) and the Billy Crudup comedic drama "Almost Famous" (2000). Rundgren's music was also featured in the dramedy "Duets" (2000) with Gwyneth Paltrow, the Tom Cruise smash hit dramatic adaptation "Vanilla Sky" (2001) and the Johnny Knoxville sports comedy "The Ringer" (2005). His music was also featured in "Paul" (2011). Rundgren's music was most recently used in the comedy "The Wedding Ringer" (2015) with Kevin Hart.
