He then acted in "Alice" (1976-1985), the drama "King of the Gypsies" (1978) with Sterling Hayden and "Family Reunion" (1981-82). He also appeared in the Ryan O'Neal comedy "So Fine" (1981). Later in his career, Rounds appeared in "The Blue and the Gray" (1982). Rounds passed away in December 1983 at the age of 53.
