Biography
Frank Roberts was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Roberts began his acting career with roles in dramas like "In the Heat of the Night" (CBS, 1987-1994), "I'll Fly Away" (NBC, 1991-93) and "Crossroads" (ABC, 1992-93). He also appeared in the TV movie "I'll Take Romance" (ABC, 1990-91). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "To Dance With the White Dog" (CBS, 1993-94). Following that project, he worked on "Body of Evidence" (1993) with Madonna, the dramatic adventure "Homeward Bound: the Incredible Journey" (1993) with Don Alder and "The Real Mccoy" (1993). He also was featured in the TV movie "Love Is Strange" (Lifetime, 1998-99). Roberts acted in films like "Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too?" (2010) and the comedy "A.C.O.D." (2013) with Adam Scott. He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "Sleepy Hollow" (Fox, 2013-) and "Being Mary Jane" (BET, 2013-). Most recently, Roberts acted on "Complications" (USA, 2014-15).
