Bill Roberson was widely known for his acting on the big screen. He also appeared in the TV movie "Body Count" (The Movie Channel, 1997-98). Roberson worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "American Gothic" (CBS, 1995-96). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Robin Williams box office smash dramatic adaptation "Patch Adams" (1998), the Mel Gibson smash hit action film "The Patriot" (2000) and "Head Cheerleader, Dead Cheerleader" (2002) with Debbie Rochon. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Last Brickmaker in America" (CBS, 2001-02). In his more recent career, he continued to act in "Hellblock 13" (2002) and the dramatic adaptation "Radio" (2003) with Cuba Gooding Jr.. He also was featured in the TV movie "The Water is Wide" (CBS, 2005-06). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Surface" (NBC, 2005-06). Roberson most recently acted in the George Clooney comedic sports movie "Leatherheads" (2008).
