Biography
Jerry Rector's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Rector kickstarted his acting career in comedies like "January Man" (1989) with Kevin Kline and "Vampire's Kiss" (1989) with Nicolas Cage. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Doogie Howser, M.D." (ABC, 1989-1993) and "NYPD Blue" (1993-2005). His film career continued throughout the nineties in productions like "Uninvited" (1993) with Jack Elam, "Dirty Money" (1995) with Frederick Deane and "Most Wanted" (1997). He also appeared in the Jack Lemmon comedy sequel "The Odd Couple II" (1998). Recently, he tackled roles in the action movie "Extreme Honor" (2001) with Dan Anderson and the Matthew Perry comedy "Numb" (2008). Most recently, Rector acted on "The Strain" (FX, 2013-).
