Troy Beyer was an accomplished actress who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. Beyer's early roles were in dramas like "Rooftops" (1989) with Jason Gedrick and Troy Beyer, "The White Girl" (1990) starring Troy Beyer and "The Five Heartbeats" (1991) starring Robert Townsend. She also appeared in the TV movie "Uncle Tom's Cabin" (Showtime, 1986-87). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "A Different World" (NBC, 1987-1993). Her film career continued throughout the nineties in productions like the Andrew McCarthy comedy sequel "Weekend at Bernie's II" (1993), the action film "The Little Death" (1995) with Brent Fraser and the comedic drama "Eddie" (1996) with Whoopi Goldberg. More recently, she tackled roles in the Halle Berry comedy "B.A.P.S." (1997), "The Gingerbread Man" (1998) and "Let's Talk About Sex" (1998). She also appeared in "John Q." (2002).
