Ben Powers was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Powers marked his early career with roles in "Good Times" (1973-79), "Laugh-In" (NBC, 1977-78) and the Cheech Marin comedy "Cheech and Chong's Nice Dreams" (1981). Later, Powers acted in "Gimme a Break" (1981-87), "Drop-Out Father" (CBS, 1982-83) and the Burt Reynolds remake "The Man Who Loved Women" (1983). He also appeared in "The New Mike Hammer" (CBS, 1983-87). Later in his career, Powers appeared in "Shattered Vows" (NBC, 1984-85). Powers passed away in April 2015 at the age of 66.
