Cliff Potts was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Potts started his acting career landing roles in such films as "A Man Called Gannon" (1969) with Anthony Franciosa, "Silent Running" (1971) and "Sometimes a Great Notion" (1971). He also appeared in "The Groundstar Conspiracy" (1972), "Face to the Wind" (1972) and the crime feature "Snow Job" (1972) with Jean-Claude Killy. He also landed a role in the miniseries "Once an Eagle" (1976-77). He also starred in the TV movies "Live Again, Die Again" (1973-74), "Trapped Beneath the Sea" (ABC, 1974-75) and "Nevada Smith" (NBC, 1974-75). During the latter half of his career, he tackled roles on "Tales of the Gold Monkey" (1982-83), "For Love and Honor" (NBC, 1983-84) and "Murder, She Wrote" (CBS, 1984-1996). He also was featured in the TV movies "Desperate Voyage" (CBS, 1980-81) and "M.A.D.D.: Mothers Against Drunk Drivers" (NBC, 1982-83). Potts most recently appeared in "Our Wild Hearts" (Hallmark Channel, 2012-13).
