Perito marked her early career with roles in "Makin' It" (1978-79), "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do" (1979-1980) and "This Is Kate Bennett..." (ABC, 1981-82). Perito also appeared in "V" (1982-83), the Paige O'Hara and Robby Benson blockbuster "Beauty and the Beast" (1991) and "Total Exposure" (1991) starring Season Hubley. She also worked on "Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2" (2000), "Storytelling" (2002) starring Selma Blair and "Bee Season" with Juliette Binoche (2005). More recently, Perito worked on the Ewan McGregor blockbuster animated comedy "Robots" (2005).
