Julie Payne was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Payne began her acting career appearing in various films, such as the Hope Lange dramatic adaptation "The Best of Everything" (1959), "The Manchurian Candidate" (1962) with Frank Sinatra and the Celia Kaye adventure "Island of the Blue Dolphins" (1964). She also appeared in "Don't Make Waves" (1967), the Robert Redford drama "The Candidate" (1972) and "Real Life" (1979). She continued to act in productions like "Just Between Friends" (1986), "Jumpin' Jack Flash" (1986) and the James Caan dramatic adaptation "Misery" (1990). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in the Al Pacino dramatic adaptation "Glengarry Glen Ross" (1992), the comedy "Monkey Trouble" (1994) with Harvey Keitel and the dramatic adaptation "The Brady Bunch Movie" (1995) with Shelley Long. She also appeared in "Spy Hard" (1996) with Leslie Nielsen. Most recently, Payne acted in the comedy "Cruel But Necessary" (2005) with Wendel Meldrum.
