Biography
Nancy Parsons was an actress who founded her entertainment career success with roles in film. Parsons kickstarted her acting career in various films such as the Bibi Andersson drama "I Never Promised You A Rose Garden" (1977), the Peter Boyle comedy "Where the Buffalo Roam" (1980) and "Motel Hell" (1980) with Rory Calhoun. She also appeared in "Honky Tonk Freeway" (1981), "Porky's" (1981) and the Steve Martin musical "Pennies From Heaven" (1981). She continued to act in productions like "Porky's II: The Next Day" (1983) with Dan Monahan, "Sudden Impact" (1983) with Clint Eastwood and "Porky's Revenge" (1985). She also appeared in the Sally Field dramatic adaptation "Steel Magnolias" (1989). Toward the end of her career, she tackled roles in the drama "The Doctor" (1991) with William Hurt, the comedic sports movie "Ladybugs" (1992) with Rodney Dangerfield and the fantasy "Wishman" (1993) with Paul Le Mat. She also was featured in the TV movie "Silhouette" (USA, 1990-91). Parsons most recently acted on "The Pretender" (1996-2000).
