Biography
Anita Ortega was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She also was featured in the miniseries "Jackie Collins' "Lady Boss"" (1992-93). Ortega started in the industry by acting in films like "Ambition" (1991). She additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Appearances" (NBC, 1989-1990) and "For the Very First Time" (NBC, 1990-91). Several more television roles followed in the nineties, including stints on "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009) and "Crisis Center" (NBC, 1996-97). Following that project, she appeared in "Loving Lulu" (1992) with Sandahl Bergman and the comedy "A Million to Juan" (1994) with Paul Rodriguez. Recently, she tackled roles on "Once and Again" (1999-2002), "The Guardian" (CBS, 2001-04) and "The Twilight Zone" (UPN, 2002-03). She also was featured in the TV movie "Gotta Kick It Up" (Disney, 2001-02). Most recently, Ortega worked on the Wilmer Valderrama dramatic adaptation "From Prada to Nada" (2011).
